Kindley commits to Georgia

It didn't take Solomon Kindley long to decide he wanted to be a Bulldog.
It didn't take Solomon Kindley long to decide he wanted to be a Bulldog.

Offensive line Solomon Kindley told UGASports he would probably commit assuming he liked what he saw during this weekend’s visit to Georgia.

He wasn’t kidding.

The 6-foot-5, 345-pound native of Jacksonville pulled the trigger on the Bulldogs, becoming Georgia’s 16th verbal commitment and third offensive line commit for the class of 2016.

His decision just comes mere days after Aaron Dowdell announced he was de-committing from the Bulldogs.

“Coach said I am looking for some Dawgs, some real aggressive linemen, and that I fit his scheme, and that he likes how my feet are,” Kindley told UGASports.com Thursday night. “Like I said, he just needs some elite offensive linemen to get Georgia where they need to go.”

A three-star performer, Kindley only received his offer from offensive line coach Sam Pittman following a visit last Thursday, at which time he agreed to make the journey up to Athens to see what the Bulldogs are all about.

Kindley chose the Bulldogs over 11 other schools who had made offers, including the likes Miami, Iowa State, North Carolina, West Virginia and Louisville.
