Six Georgia football players were honored with the Coffee County Hustle Award this week highlighting the annual Bulldog awards following completion of spring practice.

Recipients of the Coffee County award, given since 1961 to the player(s) who exhibit the most desire during spring drills, include Greg Pyke, OT, Baltimore, Md.; Isaiah McKenzie, WR, Miami, Fla.; Jeb Blazevich, TE, Charlotte, N.C.; D’Andre Walker, OLB, Fairburn, Ga.; Lorenzo Carter, OLB, Norcross, Ga.; Malkom Parrish, Jr., Quitman, Ga.

The conclusion of spring practice arrived during this past Saturday’s G-Day spring intrasquad game in Sanford Stadium. A Southeastern Conference record 93,000 packed into the Bulldogs’ home facility to watch the team scrimmage under the eye of new head coach Kirby Smart.

The awards are given annually at the conclusion of spring practice to recognize improvement, dedication and performance on the field.
