Report: Hoops team to have home and home with Marquette

The Georgia basketball team has scheduled a home-and-home series with Marquette according to a published report.

Wednesday’s edition of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel says the Bulldogs will host the Golden Eagles sometimes this upcoming December before returning the game during the 2017-2018 campaign.

The two teams have played just once- during the 1974 season – when Marquette beat the Bulldogs 100-74 in a game that was part of the Milwaukee Classic.

Georgia returns all put two players from last year’s team – Kenny Gaines and Charles Mann.
